Carbon Solutions is working on a portal for you to log in and view the answer to this question as you need, but until that is available, please feel free to reach out, and we can provide you with the needed information.

You will need a few pieces of information, which are variable and depend on:

  • When your system was built and when the Illinois Shines Program approved the contract.
  • The contract start date (and how much production was allocated prior to contract start).
  • The delivery schedule. This document is available upon request and should be similar to the preliminary schedule provided on your SREC contract.
  • Total system production, viewable on your online monitoring website or phone app.

**Please Note:

The utility looks at production on a 36-month rolling total vs. the 36-month expected delivery. In other words, after your system delivers SRECs under the contract for three years, the utility will review performance. After that, they’ll review on an annual basis. So, they’ll look at years 1,2, and 3 together, then 2, 3, and 4, and 3, 4, and 5, until finally they review 13, 14, and 15.
