The Standard Disclosure Form must be signed by the customer before they sign their Installation Contract.
It is meant to provide consumer protection by informing the solar owner about the following:
- The initial estimated cost of the system plus associated fees.
- The preliminary specs of the system, including optimal production estimates.
- The estimated total costs and fees of the program amounting to the total system cost.
Further guidance on the Standard Disclosure form can be found here.
